Do you want to participate in the European Forum Alpbach? Now you have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship awarded by the Club Alpbach Lower Austria. We are looking forward to read your application!
Requirements:
- A connection to Lower Austria (e.g. you live or used to live in Lower Austria or study/have studied at Lower Austrian university,…)
- Minimum age 18 years, maximum age 30 years (see FAQs for details)
- proficiency in English/German (see FAQs for details)
For your application you need:
- Resume (your connection to Lower Austria shall be mentioned implicitly)
- Letter of motivation explaining why you would like to participate in the European Forum Alpbach and what contribution you would like to make to the Forum. If possible, make reference to the topic and the tracks of the Forum: https://www.alpbach.org/event/theme-tracks (max. one A4 page).
- Letter of recommendation (e.g. from university, educational institution, employer, club,…) with direct reference to the application if possible
- Transcript of records including negative evaluations or the latest certificate available (apprenticeship, school leaving certificate, degree and transcript, etc.)
What you get (the scholarship includes):
- Registration fee for the entire European Forum Alpbach 2023
- Accommodation directly in the center of Alpbach
- Previous scholarship holders will take you through the forum
- Events together with the other Lower-Austrian scholarship holders at the forum
- exclusive fireside chats with interesting personalities
- Club membership
- Opportunity to shape the club Lower Austria and the European Forum Alpbach
Your contribution (what we expect from you):
- Participation in the come2gether (23.05.2023 Evening, Vienna)
- Participation in the scholarship award ceremony (15.06.2023 Evening, Danube-University Krems)
- Participation in the Forum (i.e. participation in the forums seminars) (17th August – 30th August 24)
- One entry on the Alpbach.Blog (during or after the Forum)
- Instagram takeover of the club account for one day at the forum (posting at least 3 pictures in a story).
